Master Stove Maker ESSE will take centre stage at River Cottage HQ in Devon this May Bank Holiday for a feast of food and drink.
The River Cottage Food Fair is a celebration of seasonal, sustainable food, set to a backdrop of family-friendly fun and entertainment.
ESSE is supporting this hugely popular event, which features a stellar cast of celebrity chefs including Gill Meller, Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Yotam Ottolenghi. Masterchef Finalists Billy Wright and Jack Layer and BBC Springwatch’s Kate Humble will also be appearing at the event.
2019 year marks the 20th anniversary of Hugh’s ground-breaking River Cottage Series first hitting the TV screens so there’s going to be an extra special celebration to mark this milestone this year.
More than 5,000 visitors are expected to attend the Food Fair, which takes place at River Cottage near Axminster on May 25 & 26. Events include cookery demonstrations and masterclasses, food and craft markets, foraging walks, farm tours and – of course – fabulous foodie feasts!
ESSE’s brand new 990 ELX electric range cooker will take pride of place in the stylish and practical Ashgrove Kitchens demo stage where headline chefs will be preparing a cornucopia of mouth-watering dishes featuring fresh, seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
The team from Westcountry ESSE specialist Rangemoors will also be on hand to demonstrate ESSE range cookers and stoves on display for the duration of the event. ESSE’s latest additions to the best-selling Ironheart range of cooking stoves: Bakeheart and Warmheart – will also be available to view.
