100 SE – Automatic Ignition
Precision engineered from high grade steel and featuring our Afterburn™ system, the 100 SE offers the presence and wide fire view of the 200 but with a lower output of 5kW thanks to its slim profile.
This makes it the perfect choice where hearth depths are limited, or in rooms where there is hearth space for a large stove but where higher heat outputs would overwhelm the room.
The 100 SE has the added advantage of being approved to burn wood in Smoke Control areas. Making this an ideal wood burner for urban households.

What is Automatic Electric Ignition?
We have launched a new high-tech fire-lighting system. ESSE wood-burning stoves are the first in the world to use automatic electric ignition system in the home. The combustion unit ignites fire inside a wood-burning stove with the push of a button. It means an end to kindling, matches and burnt fingers.
The ingenious British-invented electronic ignition system is simple to use – load your dry logs in front of the air jet, close the door, press the remote and the lighting cycle begins.
