British range cooker manufacturer ESSE Engineering brought together its valued distribution and retail partners for an exclusive event to launch their new electric and wood-fired cookers, and share their vision for 2025. The gathering offered a chance to connect and discuss the latest designs of energy efficient cooking and heating stoves. Held at the historic Holmes Mill in ESSE’s home county of Lancashire, the ‘What’s New and What’s Next’ event provided a stunning setting to celebrate successes with partners while looking ahead to an exciting year of product innovation and renewed retail showroom designs with ESSE.
New products revealed included the next generation wood-fired cooking stoves, Garden Stove with Pizza Oven, and the 600 W mini wood burning range. ‘PRO’ models of electric range cookers, with 40% more oven capacity, and the 1000 S, an ESSE electric range cooker reimagined! The 1000 S bridges the aesthetic between ESSE’s traditional heat storage ranges to steel on, off cooking machines.
The day’s proceedings included five new product presentations, ESSE electric range cooker demonstrations from chefs Dominique Ashford and Philippa Vine followed by bowling and a three-course evening meal. The next day, guests had the opportunity to visit the ESSE factory in Barnoldswick with display showroom and stove museum, and secure commitment for priority allocation of new models.
The event also marked a significant chapter for ESSE Engineering, as third generation directors Robert and Peter Ashby, attended to meet and engage with the brand’s valued partners. Robert and Peter’s presence underscored ESSE’s commitment to strengthening relationships within the industry and fostering collaboration with new retailers as the company continues its ambitious product development plans.
“Partnership and high standards across the dealer base are essential to success,” said Robert Ashby. “The specialist retailers we work with offer the best purchasing experiences and a level of customer service and professional advice that is integral to ESSE Engineering’s success, and this event was a wonderful occasion to celebrate our shared achievements, inspire future product designs and provide a preview of new innovations.”
Partners attending the event expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to connect with industry peers and ESSE’s leadership team. Stephan Kohn of British Stoves commented: “The event was a unique opportunity to celebrate our 25 years trading anniversary with ESSE and to connect with others in the industry. We saw first-hand how ESSE is recognising and supporting its customers with the introduction of exciting new electric and wood-fired cooking products. It’s great to see the continued demand for ESSE’s high-performance, energy efficient cooking stoves in the marketplace.”
