Already a popular choice for compact fireplaces throughout the British Isles, ESSE’s ‘entry level’ stove; the ESSE 1 now incorporates a cooler-touch longer handle, ensuring both safety and comfort during use.
This model is perfect for small to medium sized rooms and retails from just £695! The British-built ESSE 1 is available for burning wood or solid fuel and, like all ESSEs, it benefits from 170 years’ stove-making experience.

It has an impressive output of 5kW as well as being DEFRA certified for burning wood in smoke control zones.
The ESSE 1 includes many features usually associated with more expensive models, such as adjustable feet, tertiary air supply, top or rear flue options and efficiency performance measured at up to 82%.
