Whether you need help cleaning out your cooker, want to find out the best way to store logs or are having trouble lighting your stove, you can find the tricks of the trade here.
We love seeing the ESSE products come to life in your home. Share your snaps using the #ESSE1854 for a chance to get your photo featured in our gallery.
Happy Thursday everyone, it`s a beautiful day today.
I`m going to be doing a spot of gardening this afternoon, are you doing anything nice? I`d love to know!
Here`s a picture of my Esse stove that I named `Dolly` after my mum, and the once nearby dolly blue mill (just a bit of fun).

This looks to be a perfectly innocent photograph... it isn’t. Daisy is stretched out in front of the beautifully warm Esse cooker having a snooze, on a sheepskin which isn’t hers. Flea, whose place this is, would lovingly share her space with Daisy. Daisy however does not share, though expects to be able to lay her pretty head down wherever and whenever she chooses #whitecockerspaniel #dogsofinstagram #essecookersandstoves #neutraldecor #neutralhome #countrykitchen
I remember when we started out on this adventure wondering how it would be sharing our home with strangers, but over the last 3 months we have met and hosted so many lovely people. It`s means so much to us to offer an escape for our guests, a place to disconnect, recharge or come together with loved ones, it`s what so many people need, more then ever during this strange time.
Who knows when we will be able to welcome you here again, maybe it will be in a month, maybe 2 or if you live further away maybe it will be a little longer but we are looking forward to that day and until then it`s back to the renovations tomorrow. As you can see Philipp already managed to fit our beautiful new wood burner from esse1854
in the breakfast salon, it was the missing piece and I love how its sits in the restored fireplace. Now we just have to patiently wait for a missing part so we can get it lit and add some extra warmth to these November days of confinement.
Hope you`ve all had a restful weekend.
Decided to crank the esse1854 #ironheart for its first run tonight too and it does not disappoint! This little cracker pumps out some decent heat. Cannot wait to cook with it!

🎅🏼Merry Christmas Everyone!🎅🏼
Last week we had a much needed little break with the girls and visited Philipp’s family in the stunning South Tyrolean alps. Despite the 2600km of driving there and back, we’re feeling recharged and happy to be back home and ready to get going with our winter projects now.
We won’t be slowing down too much over the winter though, as we are going to concentrate on the next phase of our renovations. After a 4 month pause I’m actually looking forward to putting my DIY overalls on again and finally get started on our chateau kitchen, as well as work in the gardens. I’m also hoping to start on some other exciting projects which I’ve been thinking about for a while too and of course we’ll be documenting it all for you weekly over on Youtube.
With the help of the brilliant chefs from across the country, we’re building a mouth-watering online recipe collection for ESSE owners, with the emphasis on delicious regional ingredients. We’d love to receive your very best ESSE recipes, too.
